The Challenge

In DESTINATION: DEEP SPACE, Presented By The Boeing Company, we join two competing ALLIANCES collecting samples on Planet Primus. Unpredictable terrain and weather patterns make remote ROBOT operation essential to their mission on the planet. With only 2:30 until liftoff, the ALLIANCES must gather as many CARGO pods as possible and prepare their spaceships before the next SANDSTORM arrives.

More information can be found in the FIRST® Game Manual.

The Robot

Murphy's Law

Murphy's Law could intake two different game elements; a polycarb hatch, and a 15 inch dodgeball, using a hook-like manipulator attached to its arm. After grabbing the game piece, Murphy's Law used an elevator to raise the arm to the goal, 8 feet into the air. Murphy's Law's tank drive allowed it to effectively move around the field, and navigate around enemy robots at max efficiency.
